To gain admission into the Redeemers University School of Nursing candidates must obtain The SSCE (WAEC or NECO) and must have at least five (5) O/L credit passes to pass.
in addition to the English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, there will be more than two sittings. English, biology, chemistry, and physics are the subjects that are included in the U.T.M.E. curriculum. Candidates who enter the program through the UTME will have to complete it over five academic years, while candidates who enter through direct entrance will have to complete it for four years.
Application Requirements For Redeemers University School Of Nursing
The B.N.Sc. program shall run for five academic years for UTME entry
candidates and four years for direct entry candidates.
Five (5) O/L credit passes in the SSCE (WAEC or NECO) at not more
than 2 sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry,
Biology and Physics. The U.T.M.E. Subjects are Use of English, Biology,
Chemistry and Physics.
Admission through DIRECT ENTRY (4 years)
All candidates for Direct Entry must satisfy the minimum entry requirement
as stated above. Furthermore, the candidate must be registered with the
Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as RN/RM with at least 2 years
post-registration cognate experience.
Candidate with a General Certificate of Education at Advanced Level or its
equivalents in at least two subjects from the following: Biology, Chemistry,
Physics and Zoology
A candidate who has a good degree in any of the health-related subject
from any recognized University and has fulfilled the minimum entry
requirement of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences Programme may
also be admitted.

In addition to the University minimum entry requirements, candidates are
required to have five (5) “O” Level credits in English Language, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology Mathematics, and any other subject in no more
than 2 sittings.

Direct Entry Requirements (4-year program)
In addition to the requirements above, Direct Entry applicants must hold a
diploma or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution in Nursing,
Basic Sciences and Allied Health Science courses or hold a degree in
any Basic Science programs. Applicants must also submit an official
transcript of academic records for past qualifications from other institutions.
